How To Get Bigger Triceps
If you lift weights, you probably would like to learn how to get bigger triceps. It will not happen overnight but if you keep to your weight training routine you can get bigger triceps. You should also train the rest of your body so you have a symmetrical appearance, otherwise your big triceps will look strange. Eating more will also help you get bigger triceps so add some calories to your diet once you start lifting weights.
To get bigger triceps you need:

- Proper diet and rest
- To get bigger triceps, go to a gym to workout. Find the dumbbell rack and pick a dumbbell that is roughly 20 percent of your body weight. Stand in front of the mirror and hold the dumbbell on the inside with both of your hands, with your palms facing up. Lift the dumbbell over your head. Lower the dumbbell slowly behind your head by only bending your arms at the elbows. Push it back up to finish and then do ten total repetitions. Do this exercise for three sets to get bigger triceps.
- Another exercise to get bigger triceps are triceps extensions. To do this exercise you need to go over to the cable machines and find an empty one that has a small bar attached to the cable. Change the setting on the machine to roughly half of your body weight. Stand in front of the machine and grab the bar both hands facing down. Push the bar down so your arms arm are all the way extended and then raise it back up. Do this exercise for three sets and do ten repetitions each time.
- The bench press can help you get bigger triceps. This exercise is for building your chest but also works your triceps. Do three sets of ten repetitions for the bench press and it should help you to get bigger triceps.
- Dips are another exercise you can use to get bigger triceps. To do dips you need a dip bar. Ask someone at the gym to point it out to you if you can’t find it. Put your hands on the bar and push up to lift your body off the floor. Lower yourself down and keep you head up and your back straight, otherwise you will work your chest more instead of your triceps. Do three sets and ten repetitions to get bigger triceps.
