How To Get Drunk Without Alcohol

So, you want to know how to get drunk without alcohol. Technically, by the definition of the word, you can't, since being drunk means that you have taken too much alcohol into your system. But, if you're talking about how to get that high feeling, it's possible to feel that way without any liquor passing your lips. This kind of high is better; you won't get arrested for drunk driving, and you won't have a hangover the next morning.

  1. The first way to get drunk without alcohol is to exercise. This is often called the "runner's high." Studies have shown that exercise activates the endorphins in your brain. You'll feel all fired up when you're physically active. You don't have to run to get this feeling. Other exercises, like yoga, can give you a feeling of euphoria.
  2. Another way to get drunk without alcohol is to laugh. Try to fake a laugh. Come on. You can do it. Smile and laugh out loud. Laugh until it hurts. Better yet, find something that will really make you chuckle. People watch, especially children and toddlers. If you go to a mall or park, there are always families playing and enjoying the sights. Or go to a pet store. Puppies and kittens can make you laugh, too.
  3. The last way to get drunk without alcohol is to think happy thoughts. Sure, that sounds like bumper sticker wisdom. "If life gives you lemons, make lemonade." But if you look on the bright side, you'll be amazed how high it will make you feel. Positive thinking is a great way to feel better about yourself and your hopes and dreams. If you constantly think of all the wrong things in your life, you'll put up roadblocks to action which may prevent positive things from happening.

It might seem great to feel high, and it's okay sometimes, but you need to face the fact that you have responsibilities. You can be high on life, but, to make sure your life is the best it can be, you need to take the time to establish a healthy lifestyle. Your body is a machine that needs the proper fuel to keep going. Alcohol and drugs may work in the short term, but you'll find if you cross the line into abuse, after the high goes away the lows will follow.
