How To Get Halo 3 Mods

Getting bored with regular gameplay and want to learn how to get "Halo 3" mods? Below you will find a tutorial on how to download and modify "Halo 3." These mods will change the gameplay and make things more interesting for you as the player. These mods include color of armor changes and glitch fixes. It really does not enhance the game experience too much, but here is a guide for you regardless.

Things you'll need:

  • Computer with Windows operating system
  • Internet access
  • USB device
  1. Go to a website that has cheats and codes. If you search "Halo video game cheats and codes" in any search engine, there will be a collection of results that will help you. Find a website you feel you can trust since you will be downloading the mods off of them.
  2. Find the "Halo 3" section. This should be found under the Xbox 360 section of the website. Go to downloads and download the mods onto your computer.
  3. Find the files you have downloaded onto your computer. Open the files. They should be saved under a name you designated when your computer gave you the option to make a .exe name.
  4. Install the mod to your computer. Then, place it on a USB stick and save it to your Xbox 360. This step is crucial because you will need to transfer the mods into your game.
  5. Open the mods using your Xbox. Should be found under your memory section on the Xbox dashboard. Enjoy the modification.

 Remember, Microsoft may not allow for mods to be downloaded and be used online  If you are expecting a drastic change to gameplay, these mods may let you down. There are many videos out there that will teach you how to mod "Halo 3" and will be useful as secondary information that will clear up any thoughts for you. Have fun with the mods and play with your friends using them. This will make the game a bit different and will spark new interest in the game for you. Remember, not all mods will work or will not be as cool as some people describe.
