Looking for a few tips on how to get her back after a break up? Unfortunately, you sometimes don't realize how amazing your girl is until you break up with her. If you find that you are constantly thinking about your ex or if seeing other couples together puts you in a depressed mood, you might want to go ahead and try to get your girlfriend, fiance or wife back. It may not be easy getting her back after a break up, but it can be done if you put your heart into it. If you are only going to give half of your effort to try to get her back after a break up, you may not even want to bother trying because she is going to see straight through you.
- The right reasons. Before you even attempt to get your girl back after a break up, make sure you want her back for the right reasons. You should only be trying to get her back if you love her and can't stand the thought of not spending the rest of your life with her. If you only want to get your ex back because you don't like the idea of her being with someone else or you don't want to be alone, you are doing this for the wrong reasons and you will likely fail in your attempt.
- The cool-off period. Do not light up your ex's phone the day after you break up in an attempt to get her back. The best thing you can do is give her some space. If she truly loves you, she is going to be thinking about how to get you back, too. Both your ex and yourself need to use the cool off period to reflect on your relationship and to figure out what went wrong and what can be done in the future to prevent that from happening again.
- Take it slow. After you have given her a few days to cool down, give your ex a call and ask her if she wouldn't mind meeting you in a public place, such as a coffee shop or restaurant. When you see her, it is going to be like you are meeting a new woman for the first time. Things are going to be awkward at first, so you need to take it slow. Do not consider this to be a date, consider it to be a meeting. During this meeting, you want to get your ex to see you in a new light. This can be difficult to accomplish, but your actions are going to speak louder than words. Your ex has probably had guys tell her before that they have changed, but those words are only empty promises if you can't back them up with actions. If she doesn't believe that you have changed for the better, you can forget about getting her back.
