It is possible to learn how to get your internet on your PSP using an Ethernet service. In this article we will look at the simple steps the owner might use to achieve this safely.

Materials needed:

  • Ethernet cable
  • Adapter
  • Connectors
  • Power plugs
  • User's manual
  1. Make sure there's an extra Ethernet port on their computer so the owner can deliver the double connections that are so important for this process. The owner can achieve this in two ways: have the Ethernet card plugged into the computer or look at having a wireless card for the USB plug-in. The owner needs to make sure the computer logged online and the modem is functional. Put the Ethernet crossover cable into both the PSP and the spare port.
  2. Open up the Windows program on the PSP and connect it through the Ethernet cable. Some packages are not able to achieve this transaction but the owner need to choose the ones that will work. When the first connection comes up, the owner needs to right click on it and move to the "Properties" section. Make sure the Advanced tab is open and select the preferred options. The owner needs to check the box that allows external connections, which will start the operation.
  3. The next stage is to go back to the PSP and check if it can pick up the websites that have been used. This is a very simple procedure but it is possible to increase the number of websites that are visited and the density of the content on those websites to ensure the owner is getting the best service out of the program.
  4. If there are problems with the firewall, remove them so the download can continue without hindrance. There are some peripheral matters the owner might need to check out in order to ensure the PSP is working properly.

Tips:

  • Check the user's manual to deal with any troubleshooting elements.
