No matter what which direction you may be heading from, finding out how to get to Lake Tahoe can be an easy and fool proof endeavor. Keep these simple directions, which use airports as references, as a quick pin point of where you are and where you want to be. Next stop... Lake Tahoe!
From Reno Tahoe International Airport:
- Leave the airport heading West on Plumb Lane.
- Turn left onto US-395 South towards Carson City.
- Merge onto US 395 South via exit number 57B toward Virginia City/Carson City/South Lake Tahoe.
- Merge right onto US-50 West towards South Lake Tahoe.
- Continue to the accommodation Station on the left hand side.
- This trip takes about 60 minutes, 1.25 miles.
From Sacramento International Airport:
- Leave the airport heading North on Airport Boulevard

Merge onto I-5 South toward Sacramento/Yuba City.
- Take the I-80/US-50/CA-99 exit east towards Fresno/San Francisco.
- Merge onto US 50 East and head toward South Lake Tahoe. This will be about an 100 mile stretch.
- Turn right on Lake Tahoe Boulevard/US-50.
- Continue 1.5 miles to the Accommodation Station on the right hand side, at the corner of Stockton Avenue.
- This trip is about 115 miles and 2.5 hours.
From Oakland International Airport:
- Exit the airport going Southwest on Passenger Terminal/Airport Drive toward parking.
- Merge onto I-880 North toward downtown Oakland, which becomes the I-80 East.
- Continue on I-80 east towards Sacramento/Vallejo for approximately 70 miles.

Continue on I-80-BR East towards Capital City Freeway/Sacramento/South Lake Tahoe.

Merge onto US 50 East and head toward South Lake Tahoe for about 100 miles.
- Turn right on Lake Tahoe Blvd/US-50.
- Travel approximately 1.5 miles when you will see Accommodation Station on the right hand side, at the corner of Stockton Avenue.
- This trip is about 190 miles and takes about 3.5 hours.
From San Francisco International Airport:
- Exit the airport and Take I-380 West/US101 North/ I-280 ramp towards San Francisco.
- Merge onto US 101 North.
- Continue on I-80 East towards Bay Bridge/Oakland.
- Continue on I-80 east towards Sacramento/Vallejo for approximately 70 miles.

Continue on I-80-BR East towards Capital City Fwy/Sacramento/South Lake Tahoe.
- Merge onto US 50 East and head toward South Lake Tahoe for about 100 miles.
- Make a right on Lake Tahoe Blvd/US-50. After approximately 1.5 miles, you will see Accommodation Station on the right hand side, at the corner of Stockton Avenue.
- This trip is about 200 miles and takes about 3.75 hours.
From Los Angeles International Airport:
- Exit the airport by heading east.

Take the CA-1 North/Century Blvd/Sepulveda Boulevard North ramp and take the Century Boulevard ramp heading east.

Turn onto the I-405 North ramp towards Sacramento.

Continue on the I-405. Keep in mind that the I-405 North becomes I-5 North after approximately 25 miles.
- Remain on I-5 North for approximately 360 miles.

Take the I-80 Business/US-50 exit towards South Lake Tahoe.

Continue on US-50 east for approximately 100 miles.
- Make a right on Lake Tahoe Boulevard/US-50. After approximately 1.5 miles, you will see Accommodation Station on the right hand side, at the corner of Stockton Avenue.
- This trip is about 490 miles and takes about 7.5 hours.
