How To Get LIC Home Loans

Looking for information on how to get LIC home loans? LIC was founded in 1989 and they are one of the largest providers of home loans in India. LIC has corporate offices in Mumbai and several regional and back offices throughout India.

  1. Visit the LIC Website. The first step in getting LIC home loans is to visit the LIC website. The address for the LIC website is
  2. Access The Home Loans Page. Now that you are on the LIC website, you will need to access the home loans page. This can be done by moving your mouse over Loans, which is on the left side of the LIC website. When the pop-up menu appears, select Home Loans. You will then need to select Resident Indian, Non Resident Indian, or Facilities. If you selected Resident or Non Resident Indian, you will then need to select Purchase, Construction, Repair/Renovation, or Plot Purchase. If you selected Facilities, you will need to select either Step-up EMI or For NRI's in Gulf from the sub-menu.
  3. Download An Application. You cannot get LIC home loans directly through the LIC website. Instead, you will need to download an application and bring it to your local LIC office. Once you have selected Purchase, Construction, Repair/Renovation, Plot Purchase, Step-up EMI, or For NRI's in Gulf, you will need to click on the Download Application Form link to access an application. The applications are available in .pdf format.

Tip: Make sure that you fill out all of the required fields on the LIC home loans application. Failure to do so will most likely result in your application being rejected.
