- Purchase 1,200 Microsoft points. To get mythic maps on “Halo 3,” Microsoft points are required. The first set of mythic maps requires 400 Microsoft points, and the other set requires 800. You may already have a sufficient amount of Microsoft points in your Xbox Live account, but if you don’t, go ahead and purchase 1,200 Microsoft points. You can do this in a number of ways including straight from your Xbox 360.
- Log onto your Xbox 360 and press the “Xbox Guide” button on your controller. This will open the Xbox Guide so that you can navigate to the Xbox Live Marketplace. Simply scroll to the left using the analog sticks and select the Marketplace option.
