How To Get Rid Of A Bruise
When it comes to getting rid of a bruise one must understand what exactly a bruise is. A bruise is commonly referred to as a contusion; these are caused when the tiny blood vessels in the body are damaged as a result to a forceful blow to the skin.
To get rid of a bruise you will need:
- Cheese Cloth
- Comfrey leaves
- Water
- Blender
- Flour
- The comfrey leaves will need to be prepared as follows to begin making a comfrey poultice. Chop the comfrey leaves to a decent size and place them into the blender. Add approximately ¼ cup of water. You will want your comfrey leaves to be a soupy consistency. You may or may not need to add more water.
- Pour contents into bowl. At this point you will want to add a handful or two of flour to the blended comfrey until you reach a thicken consistency in which the comfrey can be handled. You may need to use 1 ½ cups to 2 cups of water.
- Once you have reached the right consistency you will want to prepare your cheese cloth. You will need to fold the cheese cloth into six inch by eight inch rectangles. Apply the comfrey mixture to one half of the cheese clothing leaving enough space that you can fold it over to enclose it.
You now have a comfrey poultice that will help to get rid of a bruise. These poultices can be used either at room temperature, cold or heated to help aid in relaxing and soothing the muscles.
