Want to learn how to get rid of hickeys fast? If you've got a hickey you shouldn't have, or one that you don't want anyone to see, you need to know how to get rid of it quickly. There are a few methods of getting rid of love bites fast. Read on to learn about some of them.

What you need to get rid of hickeys fast:

  • a spoon
  • liquid concealer makeup
  • turtleneck

How to get rid of hickeys fast:

  1. Try the spoon method. One very popular method of getting rid of a hickey is to scrape it with a spoon. Because a hickey is made up of broken blood vessels, you can sometimes get rid of some of the broken blood vessels by scraping the hickey with a spoon.
  2. Hold skin taut. With one hand, hold the skin of the hickey area taut or tightly so it is easier to scrape. With the other hand, hold the spoon and rake the edge of the spoon over the area of the hickey many times. This can help reduce the appearance of a hickey, although it will make the area quite pink. So, it s better to put on a turtleneck shirt after you've done this procedure.
  3. Cover it up. Another common method that you can also use is to cover the hickey with eye concealer makeup. You can purchase concealer, which is skin colored cream available in a tube, at any drug store in the cosmetics aisle. Pick a color that matches the skin on your neck or is a little bit lighter. Then, you simply dab concealer onto the hickey and then dab it with your fingertips until you can no longer see the concealer cream on the skin or the hickey.

That's all there is to getting rid of a hickey fast. You can, of course, just wear high collars or turtlenecks until the hickey goes away on its own in a few days. However, if you scrape it right after you get it, you have a better chance of it going away faster. In the meantime, you can use the concealer makeup to make it look as inconspicuous as possible. You can alleviate this problem altogether by making sure you only get future hickeys in places that aren't easily visible.
