Many people are wondering how to get ringtones for iPhones so that they can personalize their gadget as much as possible. A personalized ringtone allows the iPhone owner to add a bit of themselves to the device. When the iPhone rings in public, people can hear the iPhone's owner choice of tunes and get a tiny glimpse into the phone owner's personality. Below you will find information that will help you learn how to get ringtones for iPhones.

To get ringtones for your iPhone, you will need:

  • An iPhone
  • An iTunes account
  1. Get iPhone ringtones using iTunes. Many of the iTunes songs you have will be available for ringtone use. The songs available for ringtones will have a bell by their title when you check the box marked "Ringtone" in the "View Options" box in your upgraded iTunes account.
  2. Choose the song you want. After you have made your choice, right click the song title and choose the "Create Ringtone" option.
  3. Move the blue editing tool to the portion of the song you would like to become your 30 second ringtone. After previewing it, you may purchase the ringtone via the "Buy" button for 99 cents.
  4. Sync your iPhone so that you can add the ringtone. That is all there is to it! You should now have your chosen ringtone on your iPhone.

You can also choose ringtones from your iPhone directly by browsing for them using the iTunes icon in the home screen of your device. The ringtones option will be found at the bottom section of the screen. You can then preview the ringtones of your choice and easily purchase them right from your iPhone.
