- Create a video showcasing your mad skills. It is not necessary to hire a professional camera crew in order to create such a video. But, it is important to aim to impress. Capture your best stunts and tricks on this video. Take your time and edit your footage in a professional manner. Label this video and/or DVD as a "sponsor me" DVD and/or tape.
- Prepare a resume of all your skateboarding accomplishments. Regardless of how small a scale any of your accomplishments may have been when you first started out, include them on this resume. List events that you competed in even if you did not rank at the top. List any training camps and/or workshops you have attended. Any awards, championships and honorable mentions should be included in this resume. Your skill level and stunts achieved should be listed within this resume as well.
- Write a letter to the Team Manager of Element Skateboards explaining why you deserve sponsorship. With this letter include your video and/or DVD and your resume.
- Submit this assembled package to: Element Skateboards, 121 Waterworks Way, Suite 100, Irvine, CA 92618.
