How To Get Youtube Videos On Your Ipod
Learning how to get YouTube videos on your iPod involves several steps, but can be well worth the process. YouTube only works on the iPod if WiFi is involved. If your iPod is not in the necessary range to watch videos on the Internet, then you wont be able to view these videos. After awhile, this can become annoying. Therefore, you can get YouTube videos on your iPod so that you no longer have to worry about WiFi. Here are a couple of steps to follow in order to make this possible.
To get YouTube videos on your iPod, you will need:
- Computer with Internet
- iTunes
- iPod
- USB Cable
- Use your computer to go onto YouTube and find the video that you want to add to your iPod. Go to the top of the webpage and highlight the video's URL. Click on the toolbar option that says "Edit" and select "Copy."
- Go to KeepVid.com. Paste the URL copied into the URL field at the top of this website. Click on where it says "Download" right beside the URL field. This will cause a window to pop-up. Click on the option that says "Run" and click on where it says "Download MP4." This will now make sure that the video is saved to your computer.
- Open up your iTunes on your computer and click on the toolbar option that says "File." Scroll down and select the option that says "Add file to Library." Locate your YouTube file in the window that pops-up and click on it. Then select "Open" so that it is officially added into your iTunes library.
- Use your USB cable to connect your iPod and sync the videos that you have downloaded into it. The sync should happen automatically. Once it is done syncing you can disconnect it and enjoy your YouTube videos.
