Mouth sores, or mouth ulcers are very painful, but you can learn how to heal mouth sores quickly with home remedies. These home remedies are very simple, and safe alternatives to the over-the-counter cures, and the expensive prescription medications available for a doctor.
To heal mouth sores, you will need:
- warm water
- mouth wash
- bag tea bag
- table salt
- baking soda
- It is easy to mix up a simple home recipe to help to heal your mouth ulcers. Take two tablespoons of honey, and mix it with a glass of warm water. Gargle with this solution, for 30 second, and spit out. Do this two to three times a day.
- Rinse, and gargle with a mouth wash. Do this two to three times a day. By gargling with a mouth wash, the bacteria in your mouth will be reduced, and your mouth sores will heal faster.
Sucking on a tea bags filled with black tea can help to treat your mouth sores. Wet the tea bags with warm water, and place in your mouth over the sores. The tannins in the black tea help to treat the mouth sores, as well as to relieve some of the pain associated with this condition.
- Gargle with baking soda, and salt to cure mouth ulcers. Combine one teaspoon of salt with one teaspoon of baking soda, and dissolve with 4 oz of warm water. Gargle with this solution for 30 seconds, and spit. Do this two to three times a day.
- If bleeding of the mouth sores occurs, or mouth sores do not disappear after ten days, see your doctor immediately.
