How To Hide Comments On Myspace

Need to know how to hide comments on MySpace? There are many different changes you can make to your MySpace account, especially if you use code.  One way you can change your profile is to insert code to hide comments, which is useful if you don't want everyone to see the comments people make to you on MySpace.  You'll still receive notifications when comments are made, but they won't show up on your profile.

Profile 1.0

1. Go to MySpace.com.  You have to be logged in to your account before you can make any profile changes, so sign in using your email address and password.  You will be taken to your homepage.
2. Edit your profile.  Hover over the "Profile" tab with your mouse and click "Edit Profile."  You will see the part of MySpace where you can update information about yourself.
   
3. Click "About Me."  This is the part of your profile where you need to add the code for hiding comments.  Don't worry about the code affecting the "About Me" details that are listed.
   
4. Enter the code.  Copy and paste the following code on your profile:  <style type="text/css">.a {MySpaceGens.com - hide your comments} .friendsComments { display:none; }</style>
5. Click the "Save Changes" button.  Now you can check out your profile to see that the comments section is no longer listed.

Profile 2.0

1. Go to MySpace.com.  Sign in using your email address and password.
2. Use the MySpace menu to access your profile. Hover over the "Profile" tab and select "Customize Profile" from the drop-down menu.  The profile editor for MySpace will open in a new window.
3. Click the "CSS" button.  A box will open and this where you need to insert the code for hiding comments. 
4. Copy and paste the following code in the CSS box:  .commentsModule { display: none; }
5. Click the "Preview" button.  You can use this to check out how your updated profile will look before publishing the changes.  Check out the part of your profile where your comments used to be listed; you shouldn't see any comments now.
6. Click the "Publish" button.  The comments section will no longer be visible to anyone who views your profile.       

Tips

If you decide later that you want your comments to show up on your profile again, edit your profile and delete the code.
