Learning how to hide your music player on MySpace is a part of what makes MySpace so fun. MySpace is a social networking website that was once the most popular social networking site in the world, but that title has been given to Facebook. A large part of what made MySpace so popular was the fact that you could customize a page and make it yours. Hiding a music player on your MySpace page is not difficult at all and can be done by following these simple steps.

To hide a music player on MySpace, you will need:

  • Computer with internet acces
  • MySpace account
  1. Open up your internet browser and go to MySpaceGens.com. Drag your mouse over to where it says Codes. Do not click on it. Wait for the drop down menu to show up. Go down to the second column and second row to where it says "Hide Music Player" and click it.
  2. Decide on which code that you want to use. There are two types of codes that you can use: there is one for MySpace 1.0 and MySpace 2.0. Decide which one you want to use for your MySpace page and copy the code.
  3. If you copied the MySpace 1.0 code, past it into your "About Me" section. If you copied the MySpace 2.0 code, paste it into your "CSS" section of your profile. That section can be found under where it says "Customize Profile."

Now that you know how to hide your music player on MySpace, you'll have people wondering what songs are playing on your profile.
