How To Hide Your Music Player On Myspace
If you are an experienced MySpace user, you may eventually find yourself wishing to dabble in creating your own profile designs or you may also need to know how to hide your music player on MySpace. Luckily, there are a few ways for you to only disable your profile's music player and hide it entirely no matter what other settings you may change. You can do this in two ways, either through MySpace's profile editor or through the customize profile option.
Things you'll need:
- Computer with internet access
- MySpace account
- Basic knowledge of HTML
- Edit your profile. For the first method, go to where you would normally edit your About Me and Interests sections. In any of these text boxes, you can place the following code in order to hide your music player. <style type="text/css">.a {MypsaceGens Hide Music Player http://www.myspacegens.com/handler.php?page=tutorials&12=S} embed, object { filter:alpha(opacity=0.2); opacity:0.02; } td td td embed, td td td object, table table td.text embed, table table td.text object { filter:none; opacity:none; } table table div { position:absolute; top:0px; left:-250px; } table table td.text div, table table div div, table table table div, div table table div, table div table div { position:static; } table.interestsAndDetails { margin-top:-25px; }</style> After you save your edits, return to your profile and see if everything worked fine. If it did, your music player should be entirely gone!
- Customize profile. The other option is to go to the customize profile link. Find the section for CSS and paste the following" musicPlayerModule div.moduleBody { width: 1px; height: 1px; } .musicPlayerModule object { filter: alpha(opacity=0.1); -moz-opacity: 0.1; opacity: 0.1; height: 1px; width: 1px; } Save it when you are done and check your handy work. You are well on your way to learning the ins and outs of customizing your MySpace profile.
