  3. Updating a resume is a tedious task yet is required for each job search. Applicants skilled in more than one field must create a resume to highlightexperience for each skill on a separate resume. If you are attempting to get a technical support position yet you have customer service experience, list all the jobs that relate to any technical support experience first then list customer service as additional experience. Employers love to see the relevant information first rather than fight through a catalogue of information other applicants list on their resume.

There are different ways to improve your job search skills by implementing small changes such as realizing the job market competition, changing job search approaches and updating resumes to fit the job description.
