- Add a moisturizer to your face or lotion to your body. If you want to improve your skin right away, just adding lotion can reduce the dry and scaly look that you may have noticed on your legs and arms.
- Drink lots of water. Taking the time to drink more water will eventually improve your skin. While this isn't going to be something that helps overnight, over time, you will be able to see a difference.
- Take a look at your diet. If you aren't getting enough nutrients in the food that you are eating, you may notice that your skin isn't looking its best. By changing your diet, you can improve your skin. If you can't see yourself changing anything in your diet, you can begin to take a multivitamin to help.
- Sometimes, more serious action is needed. When it comes to your face, things like a chemical peel or exfoliating mask can help you get a head start in helping to improve your skin. If you are still struggling, take the time to make an appointment with a dermatologist.
