Knowing how to increase your sex drive isn't something to be embarrassed about—on the contrary, you should think of it as taking a proactive step towards ensuring your body's longevity. By knowing these following ways to increase your sex drive, you'll make certain that your sexual activity should not have to suffer, no matter the condition of the rest of your life.

  1. Keep yourself healthy. Studies have shown a decrease in libido for men who are obese or just generally out of shape. If you care about keeping your sex drive in good shape, be sure to do the same for your body! You don't need to be an Adonis, but regular exercise and a good diet won't hurt your sex life. Plus, your partners will appreciate taking off your shirt and not seeing mounds of flab hidden underneath the fabric.
  2. Eat the right food. On the note of dieting, there are some foods that have been proven to increase your sex drive. Some of these include celery, raw oysters, almonds, avocado, garlic, chocolate, and figs. Of course, we're not saying that you should eat three cloves of raw garlic before you take your lady to bed, but considering working some of these foods into your daily meals if you want to see your libido increase.
  3. Cut down on your vices. We're talking about illicit drug use and alcohol intake. Despite the side effects that you may or may not enjoy from taking these, studies have shown that using such substances can lead to, among other things, a decreased sex drive. If you really care about giving your partner what she deserves, you'll cut down, or even cut out, these parts of your life.
  4. Relax! It might sound rudimentary, but you're going to enjoy sex a lot more if you're not thinking about the huge paper you have due in Theology, or the expense reports that you need to file by tomorrow night. If you're stressed out. your libido is one of the first things to suffer. Even though sex is one of the best stress relievers known to man, too much stress will cause your sex drive to decrease drastically. Be sure to cut down on the things that are making your life miserable before you jump between the sheets with someone.

Knowing the ins and outs of your libido is one of the best and surefire ways to make your relationships as long-lasting and enjoyable as possible.
