Learning how to initiate a kiss can be very beneficial when out on a date. You want to know exactly what you are doing when initiating a kiss. If done the right way it can be one of the most remembered moments of the night, and can set the pace for how the rest of the night will end. There are steps to ensure one has a wonderful date that will result in the best kissing one can imagine. The initiated kiss should feel natural and not rushed.

  1. Hold your date's hand. Holding hands give the impression you are really in tune with your date. If your date does not snatch her hand back you are making progress. Make sure you are making eye contact while you are holding hands.
  2. Gaze into her eyes. There’s more to the gaze than just staring. Look deep and compliment your date on something you really enjoyed about the night. You may want to compliment your date about her appearance.
  3. Put your hand behind your dates head. Put your hand behind your dates head and slowly begin to caress her head. If you are one that enjoys playing with hair, you should do it at this point. Your date will appreciate the gesture.
  4. Move in for the kiss. As you move in to kiss your date, gently lean her head toward yours. Do not force her head. Your date will definitely not appreciate having their head thrown into yours. But if you do it gently and caring this will result in one of the most sensual and passionate kisses imaginable.
