If you're sick of the sub par sound in your car, you may want to know how to install a radio in a 1998 Lexus GS300? If that sounds like something you are interested in doing then you have found a guide that will explain it. Before you get started you are going to need to purchase some materials. The materials you are going to need to purchase are:
- Dash Kit
- Wire Cutter
- ½ Inch Wrench
- Open up the hood of your 1998 Lexus GS 300 and take your ½ inch wrench and unbolt the nuts connecting the battery to your Lexus. You may have to remove your engine cover if you still have it on. The next step is to take your wedge and slowly wedge out the radio you have in your Lexus.
- Once you have wedged the radio out cut all the wires. After you have done that insert the dash kit into the slot when it clicks move on to step three.
- The third step to installing a radio in a 1998 Lexus GS 300 is to take your new radio and connect the wires. If you do not know anything about connecting wires do not worry it's color coded. Once you have done that, insert the radio and when you hear a click.
- Congrats you have successfully installed a new radio in your Lexus GS 300. Now reconnect your battery and you are done.
