When job stress increases, you begins to dread going to work and becomes aggravated, but it's up to you to figure out how to like a job you hate. When you hate your job, every aspect of you life starts to tailspin downward and injury and illness become likely. By eliminating that awful dread factor, you can be happier, healthier and easier to interact with.

  1. Time Management. We've all heard the mantra about how effective time management skills can lead to an easier day. Frankly, it does play a major role in liking your job again. In a day planner, schedule each task into every day-even breaks and phone calls. In the beginning of your day, schedule the most un-enjoyable task first. As your day progresses, it feels easier and you'll have more time to gossip and goof around with your coworkers away from your desk.
  2. Organization. Organization can be taxing, depending on the scale of your clutter, but it can make your day at work flow so much smoother. Throw away things that are not needed and file the unused items for later use. Keep your filing system clean of unnecessary items.
  3. Stress Management. Stress Management is the key in any situation that leaves you feeling frazzled. Not only is it important to your job to be stress-free, but also your well-being. Get a rubber ball and squeeze it whenever you feel stressed. Vent to coworkers about the stressors in your life and share cute stories about what or who you love. Also, walking around the office, counting until you're calm and deep breathing exercises all help significantly.
  4. Avoiding People you Dislike. Ok, this isn't going to be one that is easy. If there is someone at your job that you don't like, you can try to avoid them as much as possible. However, in the unfortunate event that you have to work closely with this person, you are sort of out of luck. Now you need to find a way to be able to deal with such a person. The best you can do is take a lot of deep breaths and not feed into any of their attempts to antagonize you. If all else fails, you might need to try to get switched to a different department.
