How To Keep Feet Warm
Want to learn how to keep feet warm? No one likes to have cold feet. If cold feet bother you, you just may need some instruction on how to keep feet warm. Read on to find out how to keep your feet warm and comfortable.
You will need:
- wool or cotton socks
- heater
- heating pad
- Wear those socks. In most circumstances, for normal day wear, you can just wear socks. Some people prefer wool socks, some like cotton. Extra heavy socks are the sock of choice for some people, while others like a thin sock for regular day wear. It really is up to you. Wear two pairs if hiking or doing outdoor activity.
- Use a heater. If your feet are cold in the winter, you can put a space heater near to your feet -- but not too close. A space heater can keep your feet warm, as well an electric blanket. If it's not really cold, just a regular blanket may work.
- Try a heating pad. You can get either an electric heating pad to put under your feet in bed or in a recliner. There are also microwaveable heating pads made out of corn or rice that you can heat up and then put near your feet to keep them warm. Because of the material they are made of, they stay warm for quite a while. When they cool down, just heat them up again.
- Take a bath. If your feet are cold and you need to keep them warm, draw a warm bath and hop right in. That will bring your feet up to temperature as well.
If you are suffering with feet that are cold all the time, you may have bad circulation in them. This happens as people get older. However, there's no reason to suffer with cold feet. Dress them properly, and use the tips given to keep your feet warm.
