Learning how to kiss someone for the first time can be nerve-wracking. Making sure that the timing is right, and that she is interested in kissing you, is all distressing. It's important that you are able to read cues from women. Also, while it's nice to let the moment of the kiss be spontaneous, it's best to plan ahead. If you go out to dinner, for example, and you haven't been able to get rid of stank breath, that is just not good. Women are sticklers for good breath. Learn how to kiss someone for the first time to prevent her from ruling you out for another date.

You will need:

  • Gum or breath mints

  1. Freshen your breath. This doesn't mean that you have to pack a toothbrush and toothpaste with you. But, keep gum or mints with you. Also, don't put the gum or mints in your mouth right before you kiss her. That is too overwhelming. If you think that there will be a moment for the kiss, chew the gum or suck on the mint about 30 minutes prior to that.
  2. Move your body towards her. If you are sitting down, turn and place your arm around her. Alternately, place your hand on your chin or jaw, softly of course. When you do this, gaze at her, but not in a creepy way.
  3. If you are standing, touch her chin and tip it up towards you. Be gentle! Don't try and pull her face up or anything. Another option is to put your hands on her upper arms and pull her a bit closer to you.
  4. Kiss her gently by touching her lips to her lips. Move into a deeper kiss by parting your lips and judging her reaction. If she turns her head and is in tune with you, she's into it. If she keeps her lips pretty close together. It's probably time to pull back.
