How to know your girlfriend is not over her ex is obvious if you are able to recognize the signs. While some signs that your girlfriend is not over her ex are subtle, there are also signs that are quite obvious. Learning to recognize those signs is important for determining if your current relationship has a future or if it is doomed to fail because your girlfriend has unresolved feelings towards her ex.
- Chances are your girlfriend is not over her ex if she continues to talk about her ex regularly. If your girlfriend is randomly bringing her ex into a conversation it means she still thinks about them frequently. For example, you may be having a conversation with her when she suddenly says, “Oh, Tom used to say…” This is a good indicator she is not over her ex.

If she is still looking at old pictures taken from their relationship or still treasures gifts or objects from their relationship, she is probably not over her ex. Moving on from past relationships involves letting go of mementos and if she still has them, she has not moved on.
