Low blood pressure, or hypotension, can present various signs and symptoms that can play a significant role in managing emotions. However, it is important to note that the effects on anger management caused by low blood pressure are usually an indirect symptom. Hypotension symptoms may include, but are not limited to, dizziness, fainting, weakness, fatigue, vision problems and feeling tired or sleepy. Some of these particular signs of low blood pressure can seriously contribute to one's mood and induce anger. It is not uncommon for someone that feels tired and/or sleepy a lot to be quite grumpy, perhaps even angry. An additional symptom of low blood pressure that may affect anger management is confusion. Those that become confused may also be more prone to anger or become hostile.

The way in which low blood pressure affects anger management is not the only concern associated with the condition. Serious health implications can be caused by chronic hypotension. Vital organs may not be getting all the oxygen-rich blood needed, which can become deadly. Extremely low blood pressure can lead to shock and/or death. However, it is important to note that the most common side effects of low blood pressure are falls caused by dizziness or fainting.
