How To Make Bahama Mama Drink
Learn how to make Bahama Mama drink and you will always have a refreshing tropical cocktail to serve friends and family. There are several variations to a traditional Bahama Mama cocktail. Experiment with the different recipes to create the perfect Bahama Mama drink.
Bahama Mama
Ingredients:
- ½ ounce Light Rum
- ½ ounce Dark Rum
- ½ ounce Coconut Rum
- ½ ounce 151 Rum
- 1 ounce Pineapple Juice
- ½ ounce Lemon Juice
- ½ teaspoon Grenadine
- Fill a cocktail shaker with all ingredients and ice.
- Shake well and strain into a tall cocktail glass or hurricane glass.
- Garnish with pineapple wedges and a cherry.
Bahama Mama #2
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ ounce Rum
- 1 ounce Coconut Rum
- ½ ounce Cherry Liqueur
- ½ ounce Grenadine
- 2 ounces Orange Juice
- 2 ounces Pineapple juice
- ½ ounce Lemon juice
- Fill a cocktail shaker with all ingredients and cracked ice.
- Shake well and strain into a Tom Collins or hurricane glass.
- Garnish with an orange slice.
Bahama Mama #3
Ingredients:
- ½ ounce Dark Rum
- ½ ounce 151 Rum
- ½ ounce Coconut Liqueur
- ¼ ounce Coffee Liqueur
- 4 ounces Pineapple Juice
- 1 ounce Lemon Juice
- Fill a tall cocktail or hurricane glass ¾ full of cracked ice.
- Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker and fill with ice.
- Shake well and strain into the ice filled glass.
- Garnish with a cherry.
Bahama Mama #4
Ingredients:
- 1 ounce Light Rum
- 1 ounce Dark Rum
- 1 ounce Coconut Rum
- ½ ounce Grenadine
- 6 ounces Pineapple Juice
- Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and fill with ice.
- Shake well and strain into a tall or hurricane glass.
- Garnish with an orange slice.
Tips/Warnings: If you are serving Bahama Mama Drinks at dinner or a party add a paper umbrella to each glass for a festive decoration. Paper Umbrellas are available at the local party store. Bahama Mama Drinks can be served over ice or without ice. When shaking drink ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice it dilutes the ingredients. Do not shake more than 15 or 20 seconds to avoid diluting the drink too much.
