How To Make A Cork Cocktail

Learning how to make a cork cocktail is fun. It's really not a new kind of drink, but hasn’t been done much. A cork cocktail is a cocktail that includes champagne, and a couple other ingredients to deliver a delicious end to a long day. You can mix many different ingredients with champagne to make your own kind of cork cocktail, usually fruit is involved, but this is not a must. If you want to make your own cork cocktail, follow the recipe below, and don't be afraid to change a couple things to turn it into your own.

To make a cork cocktail, you will need:

  • Sugar
  • Sours
  • Champagne
  • Cognac
  1. To start your cork cocktail, you are going to start out with a Champagne glass and add a teaspoon of sugar. When you’re ready then add your sours and only add a couple drips. Make sure this goes directly into your sugar, because the sugar will soak it up.
  2. Now that you’re ready for the Champagne, beware of the bubbles. Fill the glass to almost the top (half an inch to spare) with Champagne. Add the Champagne slowly, because the carbonation will make it overflow, and possibly get everywhere if you're not careful. Then finally add about a 3rd of a ounce of cognac and there you have it.

There is no need to mix this drink because between the sugar and the carbonation it will combine all the ingredients on its own very well. Make sure you personally like this drink, and if you feel your cork cocktail needs a little more edge feel free to add more of any ingredient. Who knows you may just come up with the next best cork cocktail. Enjoy with your friends, or by yourself!!
