By keeping some basic guidelines in mind, you can learn how to make a frisbee golf tee. Frisbee golf is a sport that is growing in popularity, and is similar to traditional versions of golf in that the athlete must start at a particular spot, known as the "tee," and must end at the  golf "hole." In regards to frisbee golf, the tee is typically a space that has been cleared of all trees, rocks, or other items that may interfere with play. Ideally, this spot should allow the athlete a view of the frisbee golf hole.

Materials:

  • Shovels
  • Wheelbarrow
  • Dirt/sand/sod
  • Map of the golf hole/display case
  1.  Evaluate the current frisbee golf field. Have a meeting with a few others who are familiar with frisbee golf, and determine where the best place for the tee should be. As stated above, a frisbee golf tee typically provides the players with a view of the entire hole.
  2. Once you have determined where the tee should be, clear the space of all rocks, tree limbs, and other debris. Try to get the tee as level as possible. If necessary, add extra dirt, sand, or sod to level the ground of the frisbee golf tee.
  3. Provide a source of information that gives players some information about that hole. This can be as simple as a picture of the hole, or could be a schematic that displays elevation changes, along with water and tree boundaries. Make sure the sign clearly marks out the playing area, is displayed in an obvious space, and is bright in color.
