To make a Hair Of The Dog Cocktail, you will need:
- 6 ounces of gin
- 1/2 oz. lemon or lime juice, preferably fresh
- 3 dashes of hot sauce
- cocktail shaker
- Mix the cocktail. Place some ice in a cocktail shaker and pour the gin, lemon juice, and hot sauce inside. Shake vigorously.
- Pour and serve. Strain the liquid out of the shaker into a glass and drink quickly without ice.
- Garnish. A slice of hot pepper such as chili pepper makes a great garnish for this drink.
