How To Make A Horny Bull Cocktail

Knowing how to make a Horny Bull cocktail is simple with a few common ingredients plus quality rum and tequila. This cocktail has versatility that other cocktails do not. A Horny Bull cocktail can be served like a slushy if you blend it with ice or it can be served shaken and strained. What you’ll need to make a Horny Bull cocktail:

  • Cocktail shaker or electric blender
  • Half cup ice
  • One one-fourth oz. tequila
  • Two oz. orange juice
  • Half oz. fresh lemon juice
  • One to two dashes grenadine syrup
  • Three-fourths oz. rum
  • One orange wedge
  • One cherry
  1. ADD ICE Put half a cup of ice into the cocktail shaker. Ready your other ingredients.
  2. ADD ALCOHOL Add the tequila, grenadine and rum to the shaker. Add the orange juice and lime juice to the shaker.
  3. TIGHTEN LID Replace the lid of the shaker. Be sure it is on tightly or you may end up with a mess.
  4. SHAKE Shake the cocktail shaker with one hand holding the lid and the other holding the body of the shaker. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
  5. POUR Strain the liquid into a glass and garnish with an orange wedge and a cherry. Wipe any drips from the glass with a clean cloth.

Optional steps:

  1. ADD INGREDIENTS Put half a cup of ice into an electric blender. Add the tequila, orange juice, lemon juice, grenadine and rum to the blender.
  2. BLEND Pulse the blender on high for 30 seconds or until the contents are slushy-like and well combined. You may need to stir the contents halfway through to ensure they all get blended.
  3. POUR Pour contents into a highball glass and garnish with an orange wedge and a cherry. Wipe away any drips from the glass with a clean cloth.
