How To Make Longboard Gloves

If you are interested in doing slides on a longboard, you will need to know how to make longboard gloves. Knowing how to make longboard gloves will keep your hands from being torn up while you perform slides.

You will need to gather these materials:

  • Corian plastic tiles
  • Jigsaw
  • Protective eyewear
  • Gardening gloves
  • Super glue
  1. Choose your glove design. The first step in learning how to make longboard gloves is choosing which style you want to make. Some people prefer to have one piece of plastic for each individual finger, while others like one piece of plastic covering two fingers. Decide which you are more comfortable with and move on to the next step.
  2. Cut down the Corian plastic tiles using the jigsaw. The next step in learning how to make longboard gloves is cutting down the Corian plastic tiles to fit your design. Be extremely careful when using the jigsaw to cut down the plastic tiles and always remember to wear protective eyewear.
  3. Glue the plastic to the gloves. Once you have successfully cut down the Corian plastic tiles to fit your gloves, attach them using the strongest super glue you can find. Make sure they are glued on well because longboard gloves are put under quite a bit of stress when you slide on them. You may have to reglue the plastic tiles down from time to time to make sure your gloves stay in good condition.
