Things you'll need to make Mahi Mahi fish tacos:

  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 dash cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon fresh minced ginger root
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 large mango peeled and diced
  • 1 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 jalapeno minced
  • 1 cup diced pineapple
  • 6 Mahi Mahi fillets
  • 6 tortillas

 

  1. In a larger skillet heat olive oil to medium high heat.
  2. Season the Mahi Mahi with pepper, salt, and any other seasons you may desire.
  3. Place fillets in high oil.
  4. Cook until Mahi Mahi is golden brown, or about three to four minutes on each side.
  5. In a medium bowl mix ingredients for the sour cream sauce. Place cayenne pepper, sour cream, lime juice, cumin, ginger, salt  and pepper.
  6. In another medium bowl place pineapple, avocado, and jalapeno into bowl for mango salsa. Mix together then place bowl to the side for the tacos.
  7. Warm tortilla shells, feel each shell with a tilapia fillet, sour cream sauce and mango salsa.
