How To Make A Martini

Basic Martini

To make a basic martini, you will need:

  • Gin
  • Dry vermouth
  • Cocktail olives
  1. A martini deserves a well chilled glass. Rinse a martini glass with clear water and place in the freezer wet for 30 to 60 minutes.
  2. Place four parts gin and one part dry vermouth in a cocktail shaker with ice.
  3. Shake very gently and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with cocktail olives.

Chocolate Martini

To make a Chocolate Martini, you will need:

  • Crème de cacao
  • Vodka
  1. Chill a martini glass. Rinse a martini glass with clear water and place in the freezer wet for 30 to 60 minutes.
  2. Fill a cocktail shaker. Place four parts vodka and one part crème de cacao in a cocktail shaker with ice.
  3. Shake very gently and strain into a chilled martini glass.

Mexican Martini

To make a Mexican Martini, you will need,

  • 1 oz. lemon lime soda
  • 1 oz. lime juice
  • 2 oz. orange juice
  • 2 oz. sweet and sour mix
  • 2 oz. tequila
  • 1 ½ oz. triple sec
  • Fresh mint leaves
  1. Chill a martini glass. Rinse a martini glass with clear water and place in the freezer wet for 30 to 60 minutes.
  2. Combine all liquid ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Fill the cocktail shaker with ice and shake well.
  3. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with fresh mint leaves.

Dirty Martini

To make a Dirty Martini, you will need:

  • 2 oz. gin
  • 1 tbsp. dry vermouth
  • 2 tsp. olive juice
  • 2 cocktail olives
  1. Chill a Martini glass. Rinse a Martini glass with clear water and place in the freezer wet for 30 to 60 minutes.
  2. Fill a cocktail shaker. Combine all ingredients and olives in a cocktail shaker.
  3. Shake very gently and strain into a chilled Martini glass. Garnish with shaken olives.

Tips & Warnings:

  • Be fearless about experimenting with your own ingredients to create your perfect flavored martini.
  • Martini should be shaken very gently and for a very short amount of time to retain the flavor of the ingredients.
