Follow these steps to make money with a search engine through AdSense.

To make money with a search engine you will need:

A website that you own and can modify

Go to the Google AdSense website.
Sign in with your Google account information. You will need to have a Google account to use AdSense.
If you do not have an account, you can also sign up for an account by clicking the button labelled "Sign up now."
Click the AdSense setup tab at the top of the page. This will display a list of different ways that you can use AdSense. There are few different types. You can start with AdSense for content to try out the program. You can always change the way you use it later.
Choose between an ad or link unit. There are examples for each.
Choose the colors, size, and other options of the ad on the next page.
You can customize the channels to monitor this ad or just skip this page. If you are new to AdSense you can just click continue.
Enter a name for your ad that will help you remember what it is. Click "submit" and get code.
