How To Make A Playlist On An IPod
Learning how to make a playlist on an iPod is quite simple. There are two primary ways to create a playlist: within the iPod itself and in iTunes. In each case, you can learn how to make a playlist on an iPod with the following steps and considerations.
- Select songs in your iPod directly. If you don't want to have to go into iTunes to make a playlist for your iPod, the first method allows you to make the playlist directly in your iPod. When you reach songs that you want to include in your playlist, hold down the select button for a few seconds until the song is highlighted (do this before actually listening to it; or you can play it, hit menu and then select).
- Save your playlist within the iPod. Once you have selected the songs you would like to include in your playlist, go to the playlists option in your iPod. You will find the songs you have selected within the On-The-Go playlist. When you are finished, you will see an option in your iPod to save the playlist under a different name, so that you can create a new On-The-Go playlist by this method.
- Add the playlist in iTunes. Within iTunes you can add a new playlist. Simply add a playlist within the iTunes interface, giving the playlist a new name. Then drag the songs you would like to your new playlist.
- Sync iTunes to your iPod. Once you have made your playlist, sync iTunes to your iPod. Now the playlist will be complete and ready to listen to on your iPod.
