- 1 large head green cabbage, core removed
- 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
- 2/3 cup converted rice
- 1 (1.5-ounce) packet meatloaf seasoning
- 3 eggs
- 2 1/4 cups frozen chopped onions
- 1 (26-ounce) jar pasta sauce
- 2 (14.5-ounce) cans diced tomatoes with green peppers, celery and onion
- A large Baking dish
- A large pot
- A large cooking fork
- Preheat the oven to bake the stuffed cabbage. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
- Blanch the cabbage for the stuffed cabbage.. Boil a large pot of water. Take a cooking fork and stick it in the head of the cabbage into the bottom of the cabbage. Holding the fork place the cabbage into the boiling water for about ten seconds. Remove from water and peel off the leaves. Place the leaves to one side.
