How to make a Tequila Sunrise (easy)
- Measure four ounces (1/2 cup) of orange juice into the shaker with ice (optional). Add two ounces of tequila. Shake gently to chill and mix ingredients.
- Prepare the glass. It can be helpful to keep glasses chilled or frozen to help the drink stay cold longer. Place a couple of ice cubes in the glass. Pour the tequila-orange juice mix into the glass, straining out the foam and ice used for mixing.
- Add the grenadine (about one ounce) by pouring it slowly into the glass and allowing it to sink to the bottom. Garnish and serve.
