How To Make Tire Treatment

Knowing how to make tire treatment can save you money. A nice set of wheels, including the tires, can make your ride look so much better. All it takes is some simple ingredients to make tire treatment and some elbow grease to make it work.

If you want to make tire treatment, you will need:

  • Borax
  • Liquid soap
  • Lemon oil
  • Bleach
  • Baking soda
  • Water
  • A scrub brush
  • Hose with a nozzle
  • Olive oil
  • Lemon juice
  • Spray or bowl
  • Clean cloths
  1. Before dressing the tires give them a good wash. A good tire treatment starts with a wash. A good wash starts with a prewash. Rinse the tires well. Then make a paste of water and baking soda. Apply it to the tires and use a brush to loosen any dirt. Leave it on a few minutes and then use a hose with a nozzle tip to wash it down.
  2. Now that most of the dirt is gone you can clean the tires. Make a tire treatment for cleaning out of a mixture of borax, oil soap, lemon oil, and bleach. Apply this mixture to the tires. Get the tire treatment for cleaning into all of the tires' treads and around the wheels. Rinse the soap mixture off and repeat if necessary on any dirty spots.
  3. To make tires shine mix together a tire treatment of 2 parts olive oil and 1 part lemon juice in a spray bottle. Take clean cloth and rub the tire treatment onto the tires. Buff off any excess tire treatment with a clean cloth.

Your tires should be looking show-room new after the tire treatment. Now you can show off your ride and know your tires look as good as the rest of the car.
