How To A Network On Facebook
When you first created your Facebook account, you were prompted to select a network to join. You may have chosen the network for the school you attended or the network for your place of employment. When you join a network, you can view the profiles of other Facebook users in that network. If you want to add another network on Facebook, it is easy to do so. Simply access your account settings to change your network settings.
- Access your Facebook profile. Sign in to your Facebook account using your email address and password. After signing in, you will be redirected to your homepage.
- Go to your account settings. Click the "Account" button located in the upper right-hand corner of the screen and select "Account Settings" from the drop-down menu. A page labeled "My Account" will open and you will see several sections of your account that you can modify.
- View the network settings. Click the "Networks" tab from the sub-menu to view the networks you have already added. You can also add a network here.
- Enter the name of the network you want to add. After you enter the name of the network you want to add to your account, click "Join Network." The network will be added to your account settings.
Tip
If you only want to use the Facebook network you just added, you can remove other networks by clicking the "Leave Network" link next to the network name.
Warning
You will make your profile visible to everyone in the network you added unless you modify your security settings.
