How To Organize Music On Computer
If you want to know how to organize music on your computer, you should download a media player that plays music. The most popular and easy to use media player is iTunes. It's also free. This guide will show you how to download iTunes and organize music on your computer with it.
- Visit iTunes Website. Go to the Apple website and download iTunes. It is a short download and takes up very little space. It's the best program to organize music on your computer.
- Upload Music. To upload your music to iTunes, insert your cd. iTunes will automatically read the CD and ask you if you want to import it. Click yes. If you want to upload music that is already installed, click "File" at the top left of iTunes and click either "Add File to Library" or "Add Folder to Library." Find the music file or folder on the computer and upload it that way.
- Organize Your Music with iTunes. iTunes has several options to organize music on your computer. You can decide how to organize by pressing ctrl+J and choosing which options you want to view. When you've done this, you can just click "Name" or "Album" or "Play Count," etc. to organize your entire music library using these view options.

To organize music on your computer more specifically, you can create playlists using iTunes. iTunes also comes with several automatic playlists, like "Top 25 Most Played." Click and drag the songs you want from the library in the right column to the playlist title on the left column.
