Are you going camping for the weekend and need to learn how to pack a portable camping stove? Camping is a lot of fun and with fun comes hunger. That is when a portable camping stove comes in handy. The grill can be used for cooking hamburgers, hot dogs and anything your heart desires to cook. Portable grills can be cheap or expensive depending on the type purchased. Putting and taking a grill apart can be done in as little as ten minutes.  Packing a portable camping stove will be a snap with the suggestions below. Read on to find out how to pack a portable camping stove.

  1. Most grills are come assembled so you will need to take them apart. Start by removing the base and packing in a grill cover you purchased or made. Place in the back of the truck, mini van or vehicle you are driving. Be sure you pack the camping stove first as this takes more room then other items, depending on how big a grill you have.
  2. Next remove the grates from the inside of the stove. You can wrap the grates in just about anything. It is suggested you clean them before you pack so when you unload and put the stove back together it is ready for use. Place in your vehicle.
  3. Now its time to pack the camping stove. Position the stove in your vehicle and if it is large you want to tie it down. This prevents it from falling over or falling off a truck. You can use a rope of hand crank tie downs for this job .If you use a propane stove, place it out of direct sunlight and in an area that it will not flip over. Now you are ready to pack the rest of your camping gear.
