1. Don't be coy. When you approach hot women in a setting like a bar or a gym, they know the moment they spot you walking toward them that the odds are you're about to hit on them. Own it. Pretending you're just asking about their drink or how to use the weight machine they're on will only make you look timid. Feel free to start a real conversation before making your move, but don't act like you have innocent motives.
2. Be confident. Picking up hot women can be intimidating. Resist the urge to apologize for yourself or your actions with lines like, "I'm sorry, I know you must get hit on all the time, but..." or, "Normally I don't approach women, but..."
