Are you interested in learning how to practice Christian Celibacy? Celibacy will require you to abstain from all sexual activities. Being a man, Christian or not, means celibacy is not going to be easy. But it can be done using hard work and determination. If you are determined, you can definitely do it. Keep reading to learn how to practice Christian celibacy.

  1. Find a Christian mentor. Your mentor should be someone who is either currently practicing celibacy or has practiced celibacy in the past. This mentor should be able to help you by answering any questions you have and offering guidance and support.
  2. Avoid temptation. Try not to participate in activities with people whom you may share a sexual attrition to. Distract yourself by doing other activities such as reading the bible or watching movies. Try to avoid movies and activities that have sexual content or may incite sexual excitement.
  3. Create a backup plan. When temptation becomes to difficult, you are going to need a backup plan. Try out different things. Some things you may want to try would be meditation, calling your mentor and talking, praying or exercising. It is very important to have a backup plan so you can calm your mind and body in difficult times.
  4. Get a hobby. A hobby is a great way to get your mind off of sex. Get involved in something that you can be passionate about. When you are a Christian male, it can be quite difficult to get your mind off of sex, but a hobby can help.
