Do you want to know how to prevent razor burns in your pubic area? If so, then jump on the bandwagon with the rest of us. No one wants to get a razor burn at any time during their lives, especially in their pubic area! Fortunately, there are some things we can do to prevent razor burns all together. Follow these steps to begin preventing razor burns:

Supplies needed:

  • shaving cream
  • razor
  • mirror
  1. Always use shaving cream. Shaving cream is one of the most important tools to prevent razor burns in the pubic area. Shaving cream creates a creamy barrier between your skin and the razor. It also helps the razor to glide freely and smoothly to remove hair and not your skin! So, shaving cream is needed at all times during a shave.
  2. Be gentle and steady. Being gentle when shaving will increase the chances of preventing razor burns in the pubic area. Never be rough with yourself or anyone else when shaving the pubic area. Going too fast could cause a razor burn and may result in bleeding. No one wants bleeding genitals. Taking your time is the best option.
  3. Use a mirror. A mirror is needed, because sometimes, it is possible to shave in areas that we have already come across. It is insane to go over the same area twice. So, use the mirror to see what is going on down there. That will decrease the chances of getting a razor burn. It is not good to shave in areas that do not have hair on them. With the mirror, you will not bother going over already shaved areas.
