Want to know how to produce sperm? The process of producing sperm is complex. In order for the male to produce viable sperm, there are many factors that must come together. Temperature, nutrition, genetics and your environment all come into play in this species sustaining process.

  1. Sperm start their lives in the testis. The spermatozoa moves through the seminiferous tubules. Lining these tiny coiled tubes are sperm nurse cells, and sperm stem cells. These cells help to develop the newly forming sperm.
  2. The process of creating sperm requires Leydig cells. Leydig cells are positioned outside of the tubules, and produce testosterone, which is essential for the regulation of sperm production.
  3. Sperm is produced in many stages. Spermatogonium cells split to produce spermatocytes. Spermatocytes eventually change into spermatids. The spermatid the stage of the sperm is the most famous. It is in this stage that the sperm develops their tails, which they will later use to swim.
  4. The process of producing sperm takes up to 70 days. Sperm production takes several months to complete. At any given time, there are sperm cells that are in all stages of production.
  5. The fully matured sperm is stored until it is required. Fully matured sperm is stored in one of the two epididymis until they are discharged through the vas deference. The epididymis is a long, but coiled tube, located in the male scrotum.

If you want to increase your sperm quality, you should refrain from smoking, overeating, riding a bike, and drinking. Also boxer shorts are reccommended over briefs.
