How To Propose Marriage

So you found the girl that you want to spend the rest of your life with, and now you need to know how to propose marriage. You have the ring all set and are ready to propose. You start to wonder how to propose marriage. There are many ways to propose marriage that you and your soon-to-be fiancée will remember forever.

1. Set up signs to propose marriage. This is a pretty extravagant way to propose that your girlfriend will be sure to remember. Make several signs that each have one word of the big question written on them starting with your girlfriend’s name. Put her full name on the sign so she knows the signs are for her. Next, place the signs along the road on her route from work to home where you know she will see them. If you have to, make up a fake road block and tell her that a certain route home (the one you place the signs along of course) is the only one she can take. When she arrives at the house be ready with the ring and a candle lit dinner to celebrate.
2. Propose marriage during a movie. This idea is romantic, but might tick a few people off, so beware! Start the night off by taking your honey out to a nice dinner and then a movie. In the middle of the movie, have a theater tech interrupt the movie and say that they are having technical difficulties. Next, have them play a short slide show of you and your girl. At the end of the slide show, it will be time for you to propose. Display the words “Will you marry me [name]?” on the screen. When your girlfriend looks at you, show her the ring. Most of the guests will probably be happy for you, but some might not be. Just remember to kindly apologize for the interruption and let the movie resume.
3. Make a banner. This idea is a simple but effective way to propose marriage. Have a large banner made with the words “Will you marry me name?” on it. Place it somewhere during the day that you know your girlfriend will see. This could be outside her window at work or above the garage door when she returns home. When she finally does see it present her with the engagement ring and finish your proposal.

Proposals of marriage one happen once, hopefully, in a lifetime. Make it a special occasion that your girlfriend will remember forever.
