How To Put Music On iPod Touch
If you have recently bought an iPod Touch and are having trouble getting music on it, then you need to know how to get music on iPod Touch. This is a pretty easy process assuming you have had some computer experience before and can work with different programs without too much problem.
What you will need:
- Your iPod Touch
- Working USB cable
- A computer
- The iTunes program
- Start by organizing your music into one folder on your computer. The most common place to put all of this music is right in the music folder of your computer. By doing this, you will make it much easier later when you are actually working with iTunes to put the music on the iPod Touch for reasons that will be discussed later.
- Open iTunes on your computer. Don’t worry if it takes a second for iTunes to boot up, it seems to do this on Windows computers for some reason. If you own a Mac, then you probably won’t have this problem.
- After you have opened iTunes, you will have to integrate all of your songs into the program before placing them on your iPod Touch. This is where step one comes in handy. You will want to click the file button in the top left hand corner and you will want to scroll down to “add folder to library” and click it. As you can see, there is also an option for “add a file to library,” how tedious!
- After you have gotten all your songs into iTunes, you will want to sync them to your iPod Touch. Find the name of your iPod Touch on the side panel and click it once. You will see an option to sync the iPod Touch to iTunes and all the songs. You will want to click this option. After you have gotten the songs onto the iPod Touch, make sure they are there and enjoy your music!
