How To Put Wheels On A Skateboard

Although there may be circumstances to take your skateboard to a skateboard shop, replacing the wheels is not one of them. To put wheels on a skateboard is not difficult and takes little time. Supplies needed to put wheels on a skateboard:
- Skateboard
- Wheels
- One-half inch wrench or skateboard tool
- Damp cloth
How to replace wheels on a skateboard:
- Using the skateboard tool or one-half inch wrench, loosen the nuts holding in the wheels. Remove the nuts, wipe them down with the damp cloth and set aside. Pull each wheel off.
- Check the bearings to ensure they are in good shape. Place a finger in the damp cloth and use it to wipe down the bearing inside the wheels. Use the towel to also wipe down the wheels
- Replace the wheels by reversing your actions. Place the four wheels onto the truck. Place the nut on the truck and secure with your finger. Use the skateboard tool or one-half inch wrench and tighten the nuts.
